Breakfast consists of pre-packaged mini-muffins and pastries, hot water for oatmeal packets and coffee. yeah right, office door is closed until 8am, how do you get breakfast before that? You don't. People downstairs partied all night with loud music, however II, no night manager to address, they leave ant 10pm and no one returns until 8am. Walls are paper thin and you can hear people in the next room sneeze. Room was bigger than expected, however the futon was broke and kids could not sleep comfortably. Second, not enough parking - nighttime manager told me to park in the handicap parking. No signage indicating Fireside Lodge, when you drive in, look for Rodeway Inn. First - Travelocity advertises this hotel as Fireside Lodge. ![]() Posted by Norma, from Los Angeles, CA on Jan 13, 2017ĭON'T GIVE your $$$$ to this place. This is not a good place to stay, I will not return, and would not recommend it to anyone!!! She told me that they usually don’t clean rooms just provide towels and toilet paper and straighten up the bed. At the office I spoke to the manager to request that the room get cleaned, it had been 3 days. Whenever I called the front office no one would answer. During our 4 nite stay I had to take out the trash, request towels, and toilet paper daily. The place was run down the stair rail was all broken and rotting, our room had a water leak in the ceiling, the drapes in the living room were way too small for the sliding glass door and would not block out the light at night, the shower curtain kept falling off, and the phone rattled and didn’t work right. ![]() We decided to stay where we were because it was close to the activities we wanted to do. So we were given the choice to stay or relocate to another hot el that was 15 minutes away to a room that had no room spa. Travelocity customer service tried to work with the Hotel Manager, but were unsuccessful. The manager said there was nothing she could do about it, especially because I booked through a 3rd party (Travelocity). I Booked room with a spa and lakeview, my room did not have a spa.
